Dr. Shook brings exceptional skill, professionalism and a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental health. Dr. Shook was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She attended Indiana University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and then pursued a hospital residency at Loyola University Medical Center.

After years in private practice, Dr. Shook returned to hospital-based dentistry at the Hines VA, just outside of Chicago. Dr. Shook moved to Minneapolis in January 2025 and loves utilizing her expansive dental knowledge and expertise to serve her new community. She enjoys restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and being an Invisalign provider. Dr. Shook is excited to get to know our patient family and looks forward to building lasting relationships with each of you.

Dr. Shook’s passion for dentistry is not solely clinical, as every day she aspires to be a general dentist who is focused on balancing the body, mind, and spirit. In the office, this may be coaching patient breathing, prioritizing overall health, and educating patients on their dental health and wellbeing.

Outside of the office, you will find her training for another triathlon on the trail systems, trying new adventurous restaurants, and attending local wellness events. Her favorite sports team is the Chicago Bears!
